I drew wherever I could — walls, streets, subways, clubs.
Lines became movement. Movement became meaning.

I wanted art to be loud, public, and alive.
Dancing babies. Barking dogs. Radiant energy. Messages that made you look — and think.

I believed in joy, but I also believed in resistance.
AIDS activism. Anti-apartheid. LGBTQ+ rights.
My figures weren’t just dancing — they were demanding something.

Art isn’t supposed to sit quietly in a gallery.
It’s supposed to move through the world.
