My early career was in television production, including working at Channel 4 as Executive Assistant and Editorial Administrator to the Head of Music Programming and Commissioning. In this role I coordinated complex schedules, liaised with talent, agents and production companies, and supported projects within a fast-paced broadcast environment.
I later moved into education, working as a teacher coordinated the art provision across a school in London. This role allowed me to nurture my passion for the arts while developing projects that encouraged children to explore creativity and express themselves through visual art.
Following this, I established my own social media and digital marketing consultancy, supporting small businesses with branding, communications and digital strategy. Alongside managing multiple client accounts, I also work in operational and organisational roles with small businesses and community organisations, helping coordinate programmes, events and day-to-day operations.
Creativity continues to sit at the centre of my work. I write novels and screenplays inspired by major cultural and musical movements — from post-punk Manchester and the rise of Britpop to the disco and early hip-hop scenes in New York — exploring how music, politics and identity shape cultural change.
Alongside this, I co-run filmmaking workshops for girls and young women, introducing them to behind-the-scenes roles in film and television and encouraging pathways into creative industries that are often male-dominated.
I also support a number of community initiatives and charitable projects, contributing coordination, organisation and programme delivery where needed.
I joined Create Scene to connect with other creatives, collaborate on projects and support new ideas across film, television and storytelling.
