WIP 🤍 Turning a photo into a poster—one step at a time.
I’m still building this one, but the part I enjoy most is how light + shadow do half the thinking for me. It’s my little cheat code: the photo becomes a map, and I just follow it.
Today I’m letting myself stay in the “rough draft” stage a little longer—trusting the big shapes to lead… before I start dialing in color, shade, and depth.
Question: When you move from sketch to color, what do you build first—shadows, midtones, or highlights?
