From NFTs to CreateScene — How Community Built the Bridge

From NFTs to CreateScene — How Community Built the Bridge

When the world locked down, I—like so many others—was forced to rethink how I connected with people, shared my work, and kept creating. That’s when I dove headfirst into the world of NFTs.

It wasn’t just about minting digital art. It was about exploring a new frontier where creativity and technology collided. But the biggest lesson I learned during that time wasn’t about blockchain or cryptocurrency — it was about community.

The Power of Connection

In the NFT space, art didn’t just live in a gallery or a studio. It lived in Discord channels, Twitter Spaces, late-night brainstorm sessions with people halfway across the world.

I found myself working with marketing teams, animators, designers, and coders — people from wildly different scenes who shared the same hunger to build something new. We weren’t just selling art — we were creating worlds together.

And in the process, I promised my community a few things:

  • I’d share my experiences openly, through talks and knowledge-sharing.

  • I’d give back in tangible ways—over $100,000 worth of paintings and prints went directly into the hands of collectors and supporters.

  • And most importantly, I’d find a way to take this art-meets-technology movement to the next level.

A Promise Turned Into a Platform

That promise eventually grew into something bigger than NFTs themselves.

CreateScene wasn’t named in the original roadmap for my Reflections NFT project. But everything I learned in that period—the collaborations, the friendships, the global network of creatives — planted the seeds.

I saw how difficult it could be for artists, animators, photographers, musicians, and other creatives to find each other, even in a hyper-connected digital age. I saw how powerful it was when those connections did happen. And I realised that if I could build something to make that process easier, more fun, and more community-driven, it could be a gift not just to my NFT collectors, but to the wider creative world.

The Next Evolution

CreateScene is that gift.

It’s a place where you can connect instantly with people who share your passions, scenes, and creative communities — without paywalls, without swipe limits, without the algorithms pushing you into a corner.

Whether you’re an artist looking for a videographer, a model looking for a photographer, or a musician in need of a designer, you can find your people. It’s built to make collaborations happen faster, to spark friendships, and to bridge the gaps between different creative worlds.

It’s the same spirit that drove the NFT movement — decentralised, inclusive, global — but now it’s bigger than any single project or trend. It’s a space where every scene is welcome and every connection has the potential to become something extraordinary.

From Reflections to Reality

Looking back, the NFT chapter wasn’t just a digital experiment — it was a blueprint. It taught me that community isn’t an afterthought. It is the art.

CreateScene was born from that lesson.
And now, we get to build the next chapter together.
