Hey. I’m the CTO here at CreateScene. I spend most of my time deep in code, helping shape the platform, and figuring out how to build things that actually matter.
But behind all the code shipping, there’s a lot that doesn’t always get shared. The real stuff. The thinking, the experiments, the trade-offs, the “weird little moments” that shape how we work and what we’re building.
Saga of a CTO is where I’ll share that side of the story. No PR polish, just honest thoughts from inside the engine room.
What the plan looks like:
This won’t be one-size-fits-all and these may be subject to change, be removed or even added-to:
- 🛠️ Behind the Build – How we build features, what we get wrong (and right), and why we made the calls we did.
- 🧩 Open Source CTO – A look at leadership, culture, and the systems behind the product. Building in the open, mistakes included.
- ⚡ Quick Commits – Short thoughts, mini wins, sharp lessons. Like commit messages, but with more caffeine; and I do love caffeine.
- 📐 Thought Experiments – Ideas we’re kicking around. The stuff that’s not ready yet, but might shape what comes next. This could be where we get the users involved in giving ideas and feedback.
So why bother?
If you’re curious about how products grow, how teams work, or what it’s like behind the curtain of a platform like CreateScene; this is for you.
I’ll write when there’s something worth sharing. It might be messy. But hopefully it’s useful.
Thanks for reading.
Frazer,
CTO @ CreateScene
