🎉 New Features, Fresh Looks, and a Stage Worth Sharing
We’ve been busy behind the curtain, and now it’s time to pull it back and show you what’s new in CreateScene. This latest release brings one of our most creative features yet, a few smart design tweaks, and several fixes that smooth out the experience—plus a bit of a rebrand. Let’s dive in.
✍️ Introducing Stories
Say hello to Stories—our brand new feature that gives you the space to express yourself with no limits. Think of it as your own creative blog on CreateScene, where you can share longer thoughts, updates, behind-the-scenes content or anything else that needs more than just a quick post. There are no formatting constraints and no creativity caps—just you, your words, and your audience.
🌟 Newsfeed is now "The Stage"
We’ve reimagined the heart of CreateScene. The Newsfeed is now The Stage—a more fitting name for a space that’s all about showcasing what you and your network are up to. It's still your central hub for updates, but with a name that better reflects the spotlight each post deserves.
⚙️ Scene Selection Prompt
Not sure which Scenes your post belongs to? If you’ve not configured any, you’ll now be prompted before posting—helping make sure your content reaches the right corners of CreateScene.
🧑💼 New Staff Icons
Official accounts now stand out a little more. We’ve added new staff icons for CreateScene team members and company-associated accounts, so you’ll know when it’s really us engaging with the community.
🔍 Cleaner Connection Search
We’ve shifted the labels inside the search fields on the Networking/Connections page. It’s a small tweak that makes a big difference—freeing up space and making the interface easier to scan and use.
🌐 Public Profiles and Stories
Going public just got more powerful.
-
Public Stories now have dedicated, shareable pages—even for users who aren’t logged in.
-
The same goes for public profiles. Your creative identity can now live on the open web, ready to be discovered.
🛠️ Fixes & Polishes
We also squashed a few bugs that were getting in the way:
-
Fixed how custom profile designs were rendering—your styling should now look as intended.
-
Fixed an issue where you couldn’t close out of a post on the app.
-
Fixed an issue with social icons not rendering correctly.
There were plenty of smaller behind-the-scenes fixes as well, but those were the standout ones we wanted to highlight.
